Elpeus QSFP to SFP+ hybrid splitter cables make a great

The QSFP/SFP+ FPGA mezzanine card (FMC) directly interfaces six multigigabit transceivers of the FPGA to QSFP to SFP+ transceiver modules. Each QSFP(+)/SFP(+) transceiver supports ? ber optic or copper interfaces for high-speed protocols such as OBSAI/CPRI and others. The QSFP to SFP+ is also compatible with the Virtex-6’s signaling scheme through its use of voltage translators on the control signals. The QSFP to SFP+  Copper Breakoutr Cable 0.5M complies to the VITA 57.1 standard, widely used by the digital signal processing industry, making it easier for developers to integrate FPGAs to their embedded system designs. The QSFP/SFP+ FMC is ready for use with Nutaq’s Perseus

QSFP to SFP+ Splitter Cable offers IT professionals a cost-effective interconnect solution for merging 40G QSFP+ and 10G SFP+ enabled host adapters, switches and servers. For typical applications, users can install this splitter cable between an available Mellanox’s hybrid QSFP port on their 40 Gigabit/s rated switch and feed up to four upstream 10GbE-SFP+ enabled switches. Each QSFP-SFP+ splitter cable features a single QSFP connector rated for 40-Gb/s on one end and QSFP to SFP+ , each rated for 10-Gb/s, on the other. To keep up, higher performance switching hardware is needed to provide suffi cient bandwidth to avoid blocking. To accommodate the new demands for bandwidth, many newer access switches off er 48-ports of 10Gb Ethernet for connection to downstream servers and 2- or 4-ports of 40G Ethernet for connection to the core switches. These 40G interconnects, which are often implemented using QSFP to SFP+, provide suffi cient bandwidth to enable fully non-blocking switch fabrics.
