enabling the Compatible Fiber Optic Cable to ignore a background

Looking for someone with some fiber experience to answer this. I'd like to spec out an Compatible Fiber Optic Cable. Will this category cable be compatible with an NTRON 708FX2 switch? The specs for the switch say it will take fiber that is 50um-62.5um. OM4 cable is supposed to be "laser optimized OM4, for laser-optimized 50um fiber having 4700 MHz*km EMB bandwidth designed for transmission.". But the switch is Fast ethernet. Do I need to go up to a Gigabit switch? I'm looking to stick with OM4 so for future provisions.A SubNet Certificate of Attendance is issued as standard and SubNet can (recommended) give the student the FOA (The Fiber Optic Association) certification exam immediately after the course ends and certification issued for the standard fee Picking a fiber optic cable  is not only according to the number of fibers and the type of fiber, but should be based on the use of environment to select the outer sheath of the cable. The four principles to choose fiber optical cable  are: Firstly, when the Compatible Fiber Optic Cable is buried directly out Outside this band, response falls off sharply, enabling the Compatible Fiber Optic Cable to ignore a background, even ifthat background is more reflective than the target. Typical applications for these fibers include silicon wafer sensing, wafer cassette presence detection, near-field product detection, and PC board detection.
